Acoustic Engineering
The Acoustic Engineering laboratory is the only one in China that has the ability to measure high-precision two-degree-of-freedom cyclotron sound scattering. At present, it has been carried out scientific research and teaching work related to the acoustic scattering characteristics of small underwater targets.
The frequency band of the hydrophones covers the range of 1kHz to 400 kHz and meets the requirement of experimental research on acoustic scattering characteristics of both full scale objects and small scale models. The model library in this laboratory includes spherical shells, solid spheres, single-layer cylindrical shells, double-layer cylindrical shells, high-precision scaled models and so on.
