On December 1, 2022, Dr. Hu Lili, on behalf of Vice Dean Professor Yang Jian, introduces the summer internship program and the laboratory facilities in the OCE at “Study at SJTU” Information Session hold by the International Office of the University.

Dr. Hu introduces the SJTU Summer Research Internship Program which aims at promoting international research collaborations while also raising the academic profile for SJTU. Attendees can learn more about China through gaining academic and cultural experience. Internship Program encompasses a wide range of courses such as Smart Construction, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, and others.

Dr. Hu also introduces the Green Building Materials & Modern Building Structures research team and their research fields including modern structures, smart construction. Dr. Hu reveled the state-of-art lab facilities such as the shaking table, the wind tunnel.

Dr. Hu specifically reviewed the activities held during the previous Summer Internship Programs. Rich and well-organized programs have been arranged including site visits and one-day forum which was held in partnership with Institution of Civil Engineering (ICE). A few participating students who have attended the program gave their i testimonies. They all felt that the inspiring and challenging research has forged unforgettable memories in their study life and they were also hugely benefited from the program in academic term.
