New Student Welcome Arrangements

Welcome, new students of 2023! In order to facilitate the registration of new students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Logistics Support Center has meticulously planned and arranged comprehensive preparations for transportation support, catering and commercial services, environmental support, energy support, medical support, and more during the welcoming period.

The following is a summary of transportation support, dining services, medical services, luggage transport services, and more for the day of the welcome.

August 22: On-Campus Transportation Guide

Shuttles from Dongchuan Road Metro Station, service hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Shuttles from South Gate, service hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Campus buses, service hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

August 22-23: Dining Guide

On August 22 and 23, the nearby canteens in the Minhang Campus dormitory area will extend their service hours, set up duty windows for uninterrupted service until 10:00 PM, and provide special welcome meals. Details are as follows:

Other Logistics Services During the Welcome Period

Logistics staff will collect and transport luggage for new students who have opted for railway baggage consignment, and distribute it to student dormitories.

Emergency medical support services will be provided. A temporary medical emergency support point will be set up in Zone East 1 of the Minhang Campus, with medical staff from the campus hospital available 24 hours.
