I mainly work on seismological problems associated with fluid mechanics, which I call fluid seismology, or seismological fluid mechanics. Current research topics include: 

        * Tsunamis and tsunami warning (seismology+water waves)

        * Ocean-bottom pressure (seismology+incompressible/compressible fluid)

        * OBS noise (seismology+ocean-surface waves/ocean-bottom currents)

Currently I use observations that are designed for seismological studies, and try to extract the fluid information contained by the data.
